The new partnership will not only see Jab Jab provide a platform for Mojo Networks to expand their regional reach, but more importantly use Mojo’s technology to either solve existing business problems or create new business models and case studies across the region.
“Our partnership for Mojo Networks extends from Kenya and to the East African region. We believe that our tremendous insight into the region, and our understanding of the technology issues pertaining to businesses across all segments, provides Mojo Networks a strong leader as a technology partner, thus ensuring we also fulfill Mojo’s vision into bringing open platforms and standards to the market,” said Bahves Shah, Founder and CEO of Jab Jab.
Mr. Bhaves also added that the new partnership is critical to Jab Jab’s growth plans as a company, and a leader in disrupting the technology landscape in Kenya and East Africa.
“We need to adopt technologies that are meeting the challenges of tomorrow. As technology landscape is changing fast, so are the demands of customers. Today most of the corporate world has its work force working remotely, or on the go, we are not bound by the desk anymore, and if we are, most offices have WiFi connectivity,” he added.
Apart from the new partnership with Mojo Networks, Jab Jab has been in the forefront to bring cyber security offerings into the market that are completely unique, and provide businesses a way to secure their corporate networks internally and on the cloud.
The company’s recent offering of aggregating and bonding internet bandwidth from different Internet Service Providers (ISPs) has been a huge hit in the market. Customers can now have full redundancy on their internet links using shared/fixed broadband technology rather than the legacy technologies like MPLS which are very expensive.
Jab Jab is also launching the first hybrid Cloud NAS Storage and Backup solution for the SME’s in East Africa, this will provide customers the ability to store and share data on the cloud whilst accessing it locally on their corporate networks.k
As a growing company, and having a vision for disrupting the current technology landscape, Mr Bhaves said that they were researching and are on the lookout for technology partners who are transforming industries and helping to create new business models and opportunities.
“At this stage we are researching in the area of cyber security, and looking to add some strong emerging disruptors to our portfolio. We will notify our customers and audience of such news or events at an appropriate time,” he concluded.
Jab Jab Group is a technology company that focuses primarily on creating frictionless commerce. The company is also part of the Nairobi Garage Community.
