Further, there is also the Nairobi Expressway, a 27km (17-mile) highway, that connects Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the east of the city to the Nairobi-Nakuru highway in the west.

With ten exits and one being an exit to the CBD, the expresway is helping decongest the CBD and reduce the traffic which has always been a nightmare for many.
