VC4A’s annual Venture Showcase – Seed funding is back and they are calling on all African startups looking to raise between US$150,000 and US$1 million in funding to apply.
The showcase will take place virtually in November. VC4A usually hosts the annual showcase as part of the Africa Early Stage Investor Summit in Cape Town, but with that event cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic it has gone virtual for 2020.
VC4A Venture Showcase Seed is the sister program of the annual VC4A Venture Showcase Serie A. Between 2017-2019, VC4A selected 60 scale-ups from across the continent as part of 4 showcase programs, resulting in a number of Series A deals totalling over $100M.
Building on this success, the ‘VC4A Venture Showcase – Seed’ – in collaboration with AWS Activate, AfriLabs and ABAN – is a central component of VC4A’s efforts to support investors connecting with early-stage ventures.
This is an exclusive opportunity to introduce your company at once to everyone who’s anyone in Africa’s early-stage investment space.
Ten innovative early-stage startups will be selected to showcase their businesses to the world, with applicants needing to be based in Africa with a tech-enabled solution that is already on the market and gained some traction.
Interested entrepreneurs are invited to apply here before September 11.
