Oxygen8 East Africa is hiring a Technical Engineer

Oxygen8 East Africa is part of the Oxygen8 group a global technology provider for multi-channel solutions.

Oxygen8 uses mobile to drive campaigns for their clients and enables them build brands, drive new revenue streams, increase customer communications and increase customer loyalty.

The company is looking to hire a Technical Engineer to handle all hardware and software, configuration and installations as well as assist in issue solving.

In the execution of tasks related to the job the Technical Engineer will be reporting to the Head of Technical.

Some of the responsibilities include;

-Design, setup and configuration of complex local software.

-Design, setup and configuration of complex networking.

-Provide technical support for premium and bulk SMS services for clients.

-Troubleshooting malfunctions of software applications.

-Complete time-logs within 48 hours of execution of tasks in order to effectively bill clients.

The ideal candidate must possess the following;

-More than 2 years experience as a VAS technician.

-More than 2 years experience in providing local pay-bill integration systems.

The job is available to start immediately and if successful you will be based in Nairobi.
