The Fuzu-Team Adelle job shadowing program offers a unique opportunity to selected applicants to be mentored by experienced professionals in their area of interest.
This helps them to gain insights from professionals within a variety of industries. This year’s program is set to begin on 1st April and will run for two weeks up to 12th April.
At the end of the two-week program, employers can at their discretion offer an internship opportunity to the mentees.
The job shadowing program is in partnership with social activist and radio personality Adelle Onyango. Together with Adelle, Fuzu held an orientation day with the selected participants and gave them tips for making their job shadowing a learning and exciting experience.
With the first cohort, Fuzu worked with their partners such as Safe Boda, Big Square and Creide Consulting where they got to be part of the day-to-day activities of those organizations for two weeks or more.
Fuzu is a one stop shop for the largest selection of open jobs, insights into the East African job market, tailored career advice and skill training. With us, you get exactly what you need to pursue your professional goals.
Job shadowing is an on-the-job learning, career development, and leadership development program. It involves working with another employee who might have a different job in hand, have something to teach, or be able to help the person shadowing him or her to learn new aspects related to the job, organization, certain behaviors or competencies.
