Intellecap is expanding

The Intellectual Capital Advisory Services (Intellecap) is an organization committed to economic and social development. The company was founded in 2002 with the sole purpose of connecting markets, people and capital to ensure growth of businesses as well as accelerate entrepreneurship and innovation.

Intellecap has achieved a lot in India leading to connecting over 900 SMEs with investors and overseeing $200 + million worth of equity investments.

This has seen intellecap seek to improve its reach and has initiated the Sankalp Forum which is Asia’s largest social enterprise forum. It looks to connect and engage entrepreneurs and investors in year round activities which include workshops and mentorship programs.

It has also initiated the Intellecap impact Investment Network (I3N), India’s first angel network of high net worth individuals and institutions seeking to invest in early stage enterprises through Intellecap.

These strides and successes registered necessitated Intellecap’s expansion into Africa.

Intellecap Africa is part of the organizations commitment to become a global leader in providing advisory services for clients looking to effect change and impact at the Base of Pyramid in emerging markets. It has been offering advisory services in the region since 2008 and has so far brought together over 600 smes, investors, corporations, governments and other entities to spur growth of entrepreneurship and innovation.

In regards to this expansion strategy, Intellecap Africa is seeking to hire 4 passionate individuals to oversee and actualize it.

Opportunites:

–CEO Africa:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Strategic Roadmap, Governance, Leadership, and Operational Excellence. Must have at least 15+ years in consulting and have great insight into BoP markets.

–Chapter Lead (I³N):

This is a leadership and entrepreneurial role, where the candidate will be creating a chapter of I³N in Africa. Candidate must have great management skills.

–Regional Manager, Sankalp Forum:

The regional manager will be based in Nairobi and will be working closely with the senior leadership at Intellecap. The ideal candidate must have 8-10 years experience in Strategic Planning.

–Senior Manager, Stategy & Consulting:

Intellecap Africa’s growth roadmap in consultancy is bound to be challenging and the organization is seeking a focused business developer to navigate these waters. Candidate must have 9-10 years experience in cosultancy for corporations or government.
