ALX, Swiss RE Foundation calling on healthcare entrepreneurs in Africa to apply for a week design sprint

Our member, ALX has partnered with the Swiss Re Foundation to organize a Design Sprint with the best healthcare founders across the continent.

This is a one-week intensive program for which 6 leaders from Swiss Re (global reinsurer) will be working with the selected healthcare entrepreneurs in Africa on solving challenges around access to healthcare, improving public health, promoting sanitation, or combating the risk of epidemics.

The founders will work with experts and mentors to improve their business and pitch their solutions to a panel of industry leaders at the end of the 5 days, to win a US$5,000 prize and access to long term support to grow their company.

ALX is looking for 15 stellar founders available to attend the full-time sprint sessions that will be held in ALX offices in Pinetree Plaza from October 22nd to October 26th.

Founders should be leading early-stage companies in the healthcare space in Africa, preferably based in Nairobi but not necessarily.
