A short while ago, we welcomed One University Network (OUN) into our Westlands space, and they’ve since been growing from strength to strength. OUN is trying to make education more affordable and accessible, by offering the world’s first smartphone based degree and certificate programme.
Earlier this year, they announced their partnership with Strathmore University to offer degree platforms straight from your smartphone. Read more about Strathmore Mobile here.
It’s also an awesome opportunity to make some money while teaching. The program connects learners with coaches to guide them during their studies, and the coaches get compensation. If you’re an expert in a certain field, and love to teach, learn the guidelines here.
Meanwhile, Brett Calhoun, Country Manager of OUN is going to give a short talk on After Office Hours about Edtech: what problems they’re trying to solve, and how they ‘re creating solutions.
You’re welcome to attend the event at M2, The Mirage, on Thursday the 28th of April, from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
Please RSVP on Facebook.
It’s going to be an illuminating talk with a Q & A session. You really don’t want to miss this! B-)
See you there.
