International Women’s Day

For International Women’s Day 2024, Nairobi Garage hosted a remarkable event in honor of International Women’s Day.

The event brought together a diverse group of women leaders to discuss empowerment, challenges faced by women in various industries, and strategies for achieving economic inclusivity

This happened at our Nairobi Garage event space in Spring Valley, The Promenade Building.

How To Startup // Nairobi Garage X CatalyzU

A comprehensive fellowship designed by CatalyzU in partnership with Future Africa, ‘How to Startup’ will equip founders, aspiring founders, as well as startup employees with the essential skills, practical insights, and knowledge needed to build scalable businesses in Africa – from those who’ve done it.

The launch of the program happened at our Nairobi Garage event space in Kilimani, PineTree Plaza.

Africa Business Heroes // Nairobi Garage X Africa Business Heroes Initiative 

Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) is the Jack Ma Foundation’s flagship philanthropic program in Africa to support entrepreneurs.

Africa’s Business Heroes directly supports talented and promising African entrepreneurs through its namesake Prize competition. Each year the Prize selects ten “business heroes” from across Africa that compete for their share of USD 1.5 million in grant funding.

The initiative’s information session and community gathering happened recently at our Nairobi Garage event space in Kilimani, PineTree Plaza.

Members’ Event // Breakfast Networking Series 

Our Members’ Breakfast Networking Series is an exclusive event that connects members in each space during a select breakfast. Each session features a member guest speaker sharing insights and practical advice in their field of expertise.

An outstanding session from March is one that featured Christabel Ojuk, Co-founder & COO of RentScore. Through RentScore, she is helping people secure their financial investment in homeownership by educating, informing, and connecting them with the most suitable financial institutions.

This particular session happened at our Nairobi Garage coworking office in Westlands, Delta Building.
