After Office Hours with Disrupt Africa

After Office Hours has grown in leaps and bounds since the idea was born in 2014. Its a time to interact with companies and guest speakers with regards to everything business and entrepreneurship.

We have seen an increase in interest in these events with many people coming in from outside the Nairobi Garage space. Every Thursday from 5pm-6pm, we get together for an interactive session as we share snacks; our bar is always fully stocked so you can grab a drink as well!

On June 25, 2015, we will have Tom and Gabby, the founders of Disrupt Africa, Africa’s startup portal. They are members of Nairobi Garage and have always been a joy to work with.

Tom and Gabby are experts in media and journalism.

They will be speaking to attendees about press-releases and basically how to get your startup to attract media coverage which for any business is a boost as millions of people not just locally but globally will get to know about your business.

This attracts not only customers but in the case of startups, potential investors.

The need for press can therefore not be overlooked.
