About the Opportunity
Nairobi Garage is currently seeking a sales development coordinator . This individual will be responsible for working with a successful Sales team while helping to execute and achieve team sales goals. Our team is the front line of the sales process, which is why we need individuals who understand and are passionate about the Nairobi Garage experience.
This dynamic role combines relationship management, sales, and strategic execution, focusing on sales and client account development. The ideal candidate will manage the CRM, build trusted relationships and provide exceptional experience/service that essentially all contribute to Nairobi Garages growth strategy.
The Sales Development Coordinator will be the first point of contact between Nairobi Garage and potential clients. Being the first point of contact (being on phone or on email), this individual’s main goal is to promptly respond to initial requests, qualify all sales leads inquiries and book successful tours across all locations. The individual will also coordinate all follow ups of clients who have missed tours and should be able to ensure that all potential clients are correctly updated on the CRM. The CRM at all times must be neatly organised and reflect the true position of our pipelines.
The individual will also sell and organize events that are aligned with Nairobi Garage brand. You are directly responsible and in charge of the lead conversion and planning of all events. You will be responsible for every operational aspect of an event, ensuring customer service and repeat bookings through great delivery and value.
Your work, which will include but not be limited to the duties listed below, will help Nairobi Garage to achieve the following:
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Roles
1. Sales Administration
● Have a thorough understanding of the product offerings and be able to tailor its presentation to meet the needs of different types of individuals or organizations
● Manage the organization’s phone calls and email initial inquiries
● Provide accurate information via phone/email on our packages and space availability
● Ensuring a successful rate of conversions from Lead to Opportunity (i.e. through tours or email/phone) & Managing requested call backs
● Update the CRM with accurate lead information – Source, company name, email
● Prospect, build and maintain customer pipeline and forecasts
● Work cross-functionally with all departments to optimize the member experience of the space.
● Ensure that quotations have been sent to all leads who have come in and convert all tours completed to their respective opportunity pipeline and stage
● Manage the Leads pipeline as per Sales SOP standards
2. Events sales coordination
● Manage and reach 100% events targets
● Researching markets to identify opportunities for events
● Assist in development of the event idea, Event plan and delivery.
● Delivering events on time, within budget and meet the set expectations of clients
● Liaising with clients both for internal (member) and sales(commercial events) to ascertain their precise event requirements, agreeing on the execution of the event, the budgets, timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations
● Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery
● Providing leadership, direction and coordination to the event support team(including operations team in relevant spaces and other vendors.
● Responsible for the coordination of members’ night and members’ social gatherings.
● Ensuring that security,health, safety and insurance regulations are followed
● Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis) and producing reports for the management and the clients when required.
● Ensuring all team members and other relevant parties are kept updated and informed on all events issues, as early as possible.
● Ensure that a thank you note to the client is sent after every event.

● Team player – being proactive in following up with sales to ensure tours are allocated and conducted on time.
● Customer oriented – be able to align individual and team objectives around satisfying and retaining customers and ensuring that all needs and wants of the customer are met

Deliverables
● Daily Screening of incoming new leads
● Execute all Follow ups/leads/opportunities as a part of the sales process
● Booking/ Rescheduling tours for potential clients who want to visit
● Booking or Re-booking of tours on the google calendar
● Updating Hubspot with any (new walk in) leads
● Events feedback forms (80%) -Minimum 80% positive feedback
● Keeping to events budget (5%) – Cost of sales relating to Events should not exceed 5% of Event income
● Reporting weekly and monthly sales statistics
● Produce a monthly target report by 5th of each month – Should clearly demonstrate target, actual result and on deliverables in order to help with tracking success and provide opportunity for feedback/input.
