Here are some of the amazing companies that have joined our ever-growing community this month. One company from our Kilimani Location, two companies from Springvalley Location.

Spring valley

KituKali – Kitu Kali is a handmade footwear brand that employs craftsmen from Kibera slums to create unique footwear using vibrant African fabrics sourced from all over Africa.

The company’s innovative approach has seen them make use of recycled materials inside the shoes. The outside of the shoes are 100% Ankara cotton, a vibrant African fabric produced in limited individual batches, so no two pairs are ever exactly the same.

While the soles are made from locally sourced rubber in Kenya with recycled inner materials and no electricity used in the production process.

Every pair bought from them empowers the talented craftsmen and women from the Kibera district of Nairobi.

The bright and tribal-themed designs stand out as the scenery and culture of breath-taking Kenya. This being made in individual batches means that- just like all of us- these shoes are one of a kind.
