You are involved in the process of defining the financial and business parameters for every country organization, to enable delivery on IDH’s impact objectives worldwide.
To achieve its mission, IDH operates with 15 country organizations in 40 countries with an increasing intensity. As a Global Controller you support IDH’s presence in those countries by driving further professionalization and standardization of our financial administration, reporting and compliancy control.
You support, train and advice our financial colleagues to enable sound local financial management. Next to that, you play an important role in facilitating quarterly country calls, with cross-functional leaders and all levels in the organization.

You will be based at our HQ in Utrecht, Netherlands or in Nairobi, Kenya and report directly to the Head of Finance.

As Global Controller you are a true team player, working seamlessly together with your counterpart.
You are used to and enjoy working in an international setting, with different country managers and local finance colleagues worldwide.
You always keep your internal customers in mind, and can be persuasive if needed. As you are the financial expert you know what is needed and are able to plan, organize and coordinate the monthly management reporting as well as corporate consolidation processes.
Even in its rapid pace of international growth and development, you keep attention to details and are able to advise the Head of Finance and CFO on relevant topics.

Depending of the location as well as seniority and experience, IDH offers a gross monthly salary between €4300 and €5000 (when located in the Netherlands, based on a 40-hour week) and solid fringe benefits, including a good pension scheme.
