Mdundo has a focus on 15 African countries and aims to grow to 18,000,000 users within the next two years. We offer millions of songs from Africa and abroad for free downloads and streaming directly from our website and android app including the newest releases, DJ Mixes, Playlists, podcasts and music news. Mdundo is a publicly listed company at Nasdaq First North in Copenhagen.
Mdundo’s main markets are Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and Ghana with an increasing focus on Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola, Rwanda, Cameroon, Congo, Malawi, South Africa and Namibia.

About the role:
You will be part of the leadership team reporting to the CEO. Mdundo is a publicly listed company at the stock exchange Nasdaq First North in Copenhagen and as a part of the leadership team, you will be directly responsible for the results of the company.
Mdundo has grown to 5,000,000 monthly active users primarily through the execution of a data-driven content marketing strategy. We are looking for someone to continuously improve the Mdundo model and drive us from 5,000,000 to 18,000,000 over the next 24 months – we estimate a minimum of 150,000,000 people are searching for music in Africa every month.
Mdundo has a strong focus on a low user acquisition cost and we expect to drive most of our future growth through content marketing, SEO and social media marketing. You will be overseeing the Mdundo marketing team that currently consists of four great team leaders
You will be tasked with overseeing the performance of our marketing activities, creating strategies and tactics based on the data and executing on them with the marketing team.
