We had an incredibly inspiring evening at The Mirage. We teamed up with Facebook Africa to co-host Nairobi’s F8 Meetup.
We were lucky to have Nunu Ntshingila, Head of Africa Facebook, give a short introductory speech while we waited to hear from Mark Zuckerberg.
It was great for the audience, hearing what’s new for developers, and Facebook’s 10 year plan.
Among the highlights of the keynote speech was the launch of a satellite that will increase connectivity in Sub-Saharan Africa. There were also other cool announcements, like the launch of an open-source 360-degree camera: Facebook Surround.
Guys also got to hang out and we’re sure that valuable connections were formed.
