El Daily and Sendy partner to deliver organic foods to homes across Nairobi

El Daily, a health and wellness platform that seeks to reward its users for pursuing healthy living and a member of Nairobi Garage has partnered with Sendy and other Organic Produce Companies across Nairobi to make door to door deliveries for its customers as they help families stock up their homes with cereals, flour, herbs, oils and organic juices.

The new partnership is timely as it comes at a time when the Government is looking into ways to curb the Coronavirus pandemic, with Kenya already reporting over 30 cases.

This is also in line with the government’s directive for people to work from home, avoid crowded places as well as encouraging cashless transactions and a 7 pm to 5 am curfew effective today.

“We are happy to work with Sendy to be able to deliver essentials to homes during this crucial time,” said Eugene Aroka, Co-Founder El Daily.

How it works

To get the products, one has to visit the El Daily website, then move to the shop page, select the products they would like to purchase. Once you have your products and their quantities, you will be redirected to the El Daily WhatsApp Platform, where you will confirm your order.

Once your order is confirmed the El Daily Agents will then dispatch your order through Sendy. One may also choose to make payment which is strictly through an M-PESA Till Number before or after Delivery.

Apart from allowing you to access healthy foods and other consumables like groceries, the platform also enables you to access a wide variety of fitness facilities across the city.

The company aims to play a key role in the health journey of its users. With a focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle, they have developed an easy to use interface for users where they can access events, activities, facilities, products and consumables.

Frequent users of the platform get discounts and coupons as they unlock their journey to healthy living. Providing access to health and wellness services acts as a way to promote primary prevention as an effective and affordable way of disease prevention and disease management.
