Citi Mobile Challenge

Citi Bank International is running a digital accelerator program in Kenya called Citi Mobile Challenge. The program seeks to promote development of Financial Technologies through innovations.

Citi is inviting developers, techies and designers with brilliant ideas on improving global banking to work with their digital platforms towards this end.

Developers once selected will choose to work on either consumer solutions or business solutions with the aim of creating the next big FinTech solution. Participants will have access to Citi’s API’s which power their banking, payments and rewards systems.

Submissions will be assessed and finalists will have an opportunity to win $100,00 in cash rewards as well as Citi’s support in taking their innovations into production.

Timeline of events:

March 6-Application deadline

March 13-Selected participants receive API toolkits

March 27-Participants submit final projects/prototypes

April 10-Demo day participants shortlisted

April 22- Demo Day Event in Nairobi
