Bruce Lule // An Introduction

From an early age, Bruce Lule strived to understand how businesses grow, and what financing instruments they need to scale.

His love for investments paved his career path seeing him move to the UK to study Economics alongside Politics. Later on, Bruce pursued a career in Investment Banking in a bid to learn how finance supports the development of Western economies.

He would, later on, join Credit Suisse, a Fortune Global 500 (an annual ranking of the top 500 corporations worldwide as measured by revenue compiled and published annually by Fortune magazine), and a leading financial services company.

While at Credit Suisse, Bruce managed the creation and provision of various products to meet the financial and investment demands of the world’s premier financiers, investors, and institutions.

At the height of his career, Bruce would resign to study an MBA at Strathclyde Business School focusing on finance and finding a way to leverage his investment baking experience in Africa.

Bruce Lule @ Chandaria Capital 

He moved back to Kenya to help the Chandaria family set up Chandaria Capital, a venture capital vehicle, where he is currently the Investment Principal.

Under his leadership, Chandaria Capital has been able to grow its business portfolio to support local startups such as Sokowatch, Safi Analytics, Carry 1st, Ilara Health, Savannah Brands, Trade Depot,  Kobo360, among others.

Bruce prides himself on the grounds that he has been able to align his work with his mission to help African businesses grow and scale.
