#IWD2022 // 5 Ways To Break Bias Around Women in Business
March 4, 2022Justdiggit is hiring an expert in landscape restoration and agroforestry with experience in remote sensing.
About Justdiggit
Justdiggit helps farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa to restore degraded landscapes using rainwater harvesting, agroforestry, and climate-resilient agriculture. While our main programs are in Kenya and Tanzania, they are also active in Togo, Ethiopia, and Madagascar.
In the coming years, the company plans to start up new programs in other regions and is developing a ‘Regreen app’ to spread the knowledge of regreening to all farmers with an internet-connected phone.
Furthermore, the company has awareness campaigns throughout Europe and Africa.
Who Justdiggit Looking For
Justdiggit has offices in Amsterdam and Nairobi, from where they work closely with implementing partners to initiate, implement, and monitor landscape restoration programs.
The number of landscapes that we are working in keeps on growing and diversifying: from the semi-arid rangelands of Kenya to smallholder farmlands in Tanzania and agroforestry schemes in Togo.
Justdiggit seeks someone with deep knowledge of all aspects of landscape restoration (from soil and water conservation to agroforestry, all nature-based solutions) and a keen eye for both technical innovations, as well as social factors that influence its success.
