BioLite is a dynamic and rapidly growing social enterprise that develops, manufactures, and markets consumer energy products for off-grid communities around the world. BioLite serves both families in developing countries living in energy poverty and outdoor enthusiasts seeking fuel-independent cooking and off-grid power. The BioLite team has quadrupled over the last 4 years and have doubled their sales each year. They currently operating in Kenya and are excited to grow this key market with new partners and products.
Ugogo Africa has joined our office space along Ngong Road. Ugogo Africa is an e-commerce site that allows crafts men and women to sell their goods online but without needing traditional banking facilities such as debit or credit cards. Ugogo Africa a site created for people without banks. A user can create an account and sell their goods and receive payment directly to their mobile phone in the form of cash using Ugogo’s technology combined with a mobile cash system such as Mpesa.
