Merck announces that it will be launching Africa’s first health care accelerator from its new base at Nairobi Garage Ngong Road.
Tom Jackson of Disrupt Africa reports that the three-month accelerator programme will support three startups in the field of digital health with working space at the Nairobi Garage, equity-free funding of US$15,000 and links to Merck’s global network of experts for ongoing coaching and mentoring.
The Merck Accelerator is a globally implementing programme that has already found success within Germany. Their focus is Digital Health, and the programme will ideally be looking for a startup in it’s early stages.
If you qualify, make sure to apply before the 29th of February for a chance to not only gain financial support, but a super cool office space and mentoring as well.
Merck Accelerator is all set to move in on March 1st. In the meantime, apply here.
Good luck and #SpreadTheWord!
