HT Media is looking for a marketing and advertising assistant to start immediately.
The position is an entry level position and further growth in the company will be determined by Performance.
About HT Media
HT media is a Digital Media Agency based in Nairobi with a mission to enhance the online presence of African basedbusinesses by providing competitive digital media audits, digital media training, content creation and contentmanagement whilst encouraging conversations and events with regards to the online space.
Role of the marketing and advertising assistant with HT Media
The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:
Daily marketing administrative tasks
Daily advertising tasks
Supporting marketing roles in the company
Market research and organisation of consumer ratings and reports
Organising promotional events and ensuring the success of these events
Organising marketing and advertising budgets
Drafting marketing literature
Attending client meetings and discussing their digital marketing journey and
expectations
Developing digital marketing campaign strategies for clients based on their products or services
Acting as a community manager for some social media platforms
Supporting accounts manager in social media management
Setting up advertising strategies in conjunction with other departments in the company
Managing various customer touch points
Creating various forms of advertising media
Negotiating advertising contracts for various advertising campaigns
Monitoring the results of advertising campaigns
Identifying strategies for brand visibility
Being in charge of adverts on multiple online channels
Creating and managing email campaigns
Preparing market analysis reports
Holding client meetings and discussing services and marketing options for clients
Meeting performance targets related to the position
Coordinating sales efforts and manage follow ups as presented by sales team

Requirements and skills:
Competency in Meta Ads
Competency in google Ads
Competency in linkedin Ads
Excellent communication skills – be able to speak and write clearly and fluently
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to make great presentations
Persuasive nature
Basic administrative skills
Good organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Creative
Proficiency in ads management and basic content creation software
B2B sales/advertising/marketing will be an added advantage
Qualifications:
University degree in Marketing, or Digital Media, or Communication, or Advertising, orJournalism, or BBIT, or IT, or any business related programs that will be fit for the position.
Additional certification in ads management is an added advantage
Experience in the field is a big plus
