Factor[e] Ventures Launches Entrepreneur in Residence Program for East Africa

Factor[e] Ventures are seed-stage technology venture capitalists that have a strong belief that technology can have a profound and positive impact in developing countries, and we at Nairobi Garage fully agree with them!  With offices based in different parts of the world, you can find them in Nairobi (Kenya), Pune (India), and Fort Collins (Colorado, USA).

Armed with the mission to improve lives, they work in conjunction with other like-minded ventures to build and maintain access to sustainable energy and related services (Access to electricity, Waste and resource management, Mobility and Agriculture) in developing countries.

FACTOR[E] HAS A NEW AMAZING OPPORTUNITY

They are looking for a hard-working, creative, technically-savvy, passionate, and visionary East African entrepreneur who will be committed to building a venture in partnership with them.  This Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) 6-month programme is designed to work as a partnership between Factor[e] and the successful applicant as a start point of a long-term journey towards building a highly impactful venture.

During this programme, supported by Bohemian Impact Investments, Factor[e] will identify gaps in the markets that they are passionate about and eventually support the ventures that address these gaps.  If they cannot find the appropriate venture that can address these gaps, they will find the world-class entrepreneurs who fit the bill and partner with them to seize these opportunities.

Last year they co-founded Odyssey Energy Solutions and this year they are looking to do something along the same lines with an East African Entrepreneur for the East African Market.
