Nairobi: fashion designers forum

Are you a fashion designer? … It does not matter whether you are a freelance, you just started or you have just retired!

We would like to invite you to submit an interest in taking part in a research event entitled “Nairobi Fashion Designers Forum” and it aims to bring together fashion designers in Nairobi to discuss issue of concern to them as individuals and as a sector. The event will take place on the 10th of September 2019 (10am-4pm) at Nairobi Garage.

The researchers would like to involve as many fashion designers as possible, to have a broad representation of career stages and work. Please note that the event will be audio-recorded in order to use the knowledge generated for academic research and papers. All information will be anonymised when transcribed and will not be shared with third-parties.

We hope to publish also a blog and report about the initiatives that will be shared with all. If you are invited, you will be sent detailed information about the ethics guidelines followed by King’s College London.
