meet digital literacy event in Nairobi

Join us for our next MEET Session with a team from the World Bank and Malawi’s Public-Private Partnership Commission as they embark on a study tour to look at Kenya and Ghana’s Tech Ecosystems and how they can work with the different tech start-ups on the Digital Malawi Digital Foundations project

The Digital Malawi Digital Foundations project is run by World Bank and aims to contribute to a ‘digital transformation’ of Malawi’s economy, society, and government.

The program seeks to leverage digital technology to drive economic growth, innovation and job creation, access to services, information and markets, and to increase government efficiency and transparency.

Part of this involves the jumpstarting of the tech ecosystem including the establishment of a new hub as well as satellite hubs in Malawi.

The team from World Bank will also seek to learn from the different entrepreneurs in the digital literacy space on ways they can help address Malawi’s digital literacy and advanced ICT skills gaps strengthen the digital innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem; and encourage job creation, entrepreneurship, and creativity,

If you are a techie and in the digital literacy space, you cannot afford to miss out on this session. We have a feeling this MEET is going to be epic and we certainly hope that you can make it.

Kindly note that this is an invite-only event! RSVP your attendance here!

The MEET session will take place on 21st August from 9.00am to 11.00 am.
