Click, Pause, and Rewind //Here is How Our Year Turned Out

2022 was an interesting year for most businesses from trying to adjust to the Post Covid world to the elections and the economic downturns, businesses were impacted in one way or another.

As a business, a lot has happened so we still can’t settle for one great moment. Therefore, we’re taking stock and reflecting on a whole bunch of them.

Get ready for a nostalgic trip back over the past 12 months that made it a remarkable 365 days as we look forward to doing even more in 2023!

//Big for us this year was opening our fifth location in Nairobi CBD at the 20th Century Plaza off Mama Ngina Street, the space is already home to a number of companies both local and multi-national companies and we can’t be any happier.

// In the same year, we had great companies join our ever-growing community i.e Powwater, Norskenn22, Purple Elephant Ventures, Let’s Drift, and many others

//We had over 70 companies join our community which was quite a great milestone, making us home to hundreds of companies across our 5 locations.

Taking stock: Stop, rewind and take a look back to the year that was!

//This year we also opened our doors to over 800 people daily across all our locations and we can’t thank you enough.

// Companies like Kapu continued to make us proud as they secured funding and others like CashBack App and Africa Data School joined inaugural global programs

// The year also saw a delegation of the Germany Embassy and Estonia visit our spaces and interact with our members.

// With the in-person events having come back, we hosted over 50 community events which were a huge step for us and quite impactful, bringing together speakers from across different industries and giving our members a platform to network with their peers and learn from the pacesetters.

// How can we forget to take networking to another level during the World Cup Season where we aired the matches for our members every single Friday? How cool was that?

// Companies like ALP also gained major milestones including, the opening of a new state-of-the-art Warehouse in Limuru and also bagged Green Building Award at the 18th Energy Management Awards

// Companies like SWVL also continued making us proud as they got listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market in Newyork now joining companies like Mdundo, who also got listed on the NASDAQ Stork Market in Denmark and is also a member of Nairobi Garage.

// Apart from our own events we hosted huge events like Canon Content Creation, Africahackon, Africa Women in Tech, WYLDE<>Meta International Training, and many more and we just can’t thank the organizers enough for believing in us.

// Also, a big thank you to Liquid Intelligent Technologies for powering our connectivity throughout the year and all our other partners.

// As the year comes to an end, we cannot hide our excitement for 2023 as we look forward to opening more locations and forging more collaborations.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of how far we have come this year! We are beyond excited to see what 2023 brings to us. Have a wonderful holiday time and see you in 2023 as we strive to connect, cowork, and create!

Thank you for your continued support!
