Orange Ventures is the corporate VC of Orange Group. Following the official opening launch of the Orange Digital Center in Cairo in December 12th, Orange Ventures and Orange Egypt are launching a Seed Challenge to invest up to 500K Euro in a fintech startup in Egypt.
Orange Ventures offers the best of the worlds, coupling the independent and quick decision-making scheme of classic VCs with the access to the unique technological and commercial expertise of Orange Group. It is a 350m€ fund to invest in early stage startups. 50m€ dedicated to the MEA region with 2 streams:

Middle East & Africa Champions:
The stream has a broad tech investment scope and looks at fostering innovation and supporting local vibrant tech scene by seizing the potential of Middle East and African continent.
Orange Ventures Africa team based in Senegal focuses on supporting unique founders with amazing execution capabilities building category-defining businesses in areas of Orange group expertise and beyond with pan African or global scaling potential.
In addition to the investment, Orange Egypt offers the winning startup to
- Join the Orange Digital Center for six months (workspace, mentoring programs from Orange Fab)
- Pitch to the Executive Committee of Orange Egypt and discuss partnership opportunities.
Eligibility criteria
- Tech-driven startup focusing on fintech
- Mainly operating in Egypt
- Seed-stage company, have not raised more than €1M in total equity funding
