Jamii.One Scoops Two Prestigious Awards at Danish Digital Awards 2023
Jamii.One, a fintech company that works with communities helping them unlock the potential of the unbanked has scooped two prestigious awards at Danish Digital Awards in 2023.
Jamii.One was awarded first place for Digital Value Proposition and secured the third-place spot for Innovation.
This recognition marked an amazing milestone on their journey to revolutionize the African insurance market.
The Danish Digital Award celebrates Denmark’s best digital work, campaigns, and solutions.
Danish Digital Award supports diversity in Digital Transformation. With categories within everything from Digital Transformation, Customer Experience, Data Science, and The Greater Good – all forms of digital transformation are embraced by the awards, and digital work is no longer just limited to advertising campaigns.
Organized by Dansk Markedsföring, the Danish Digital Awards is a recognition for companies that account for the colossal growth of work done within digital marketing, business development, and communication.
The Awards place greater focus on digital craftsmanship and pay tribute to the best companies.
The purpose of the Danish Digital Award is to reward and highlight the most inspiring, effective, and well-executed digital work that develops or supports a company’s business activities.

Last Year, Jamii.one , was recognised by the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) as part of #InclusiveFintech50 cohort.
The company was selected among other fintech companies including AkinTec a tech startup that provides loans to classes C, D, and E, through a credit risk modeling system primarily for Afro-descendent entrepreneurs and businesses, Aloi, a platform for dedicated lending to green micro-entrepreneurs through verified merchants, Bima Money, Cash2Crop, Flexpay, Marketforce, Umoja Labs among others.
The companies were recognized for their effort in using #fintech to make #financialservices inclusive to everyone.
