About the Speaker
Cephas is a Partner and head of the commercial services unit at Crowe Erastus & Co, a member firm of Crowe Global. He is a member of the International Audit and Accounting Committee at Crowe Global and oversees the implementation and training of Crowe Global audit processes in Africa.
He has over 30 years of professional experience, leading and performing external audit and tax services, capital raising and merger and acquisitions for several companies across the East Africa region. He maintains industry specific knowledge for a diversified set of other covered organizations, through engagements in banking, insurance, mining, NGO’s, hotels, real estate, construction, manufacturing, technology, transport and other private and government organizations to ensure the delivery of impeccable quality service.
Cephas believes in implementing flexible, measurable and scalable tailored approaches that help clients assess and prioritize their greatest areas of need and develop risk management processes to made those risks and provide greater value. His institutional experience, understanding of business needs, and ability to leverage technology allow him to effectively bring efficiency across the audit and business advisory sector.
He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA), Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), President of the Rotary Club of Karen, Member of the Finance Committee at the Karen Country Club and a regular contributor for World Bank’s publication on “Doing Business.”
