About the Speaker

Francis Waithaka has 20 years of experience in technology and new media. He is the founder and CEO of Digital 4 Africa Ltd that is based in our Westlands space. He studied Information Technology at the Jomo Kenyatta University and has done advanced courses in digital marketing at The University of Manitoba in Canada.

Francis is a certified digital marketer by Google, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. He has been recognized as one of the top men in Digital in Kenya.

He has worked for companies such as KCB, Rich Management and KAPC. As a digital marketer for KCB, he supported and trained hundreds of bankers in six East African countries – Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda and South Sudan. Francis has taught and mentored entrepreneurs and students at Centonomy, PRSK, Africa Digital Media Institute and Tangaza University College.
