- Adopt a hands-on approach to produce quick turn prototypes
- Tailor their testing to be human centric.
Join Phillip Satterfield a product design engineer from the Silicon Valley, on 19th June 2018 at 6pm at our Ngong’ Road Space, 7th floor, Pinetree plaza as he explores and discusses the impact of design thinking in today’s innovative world.
Satterfield has a wealth of knowledge spanning close to 20 years, having received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 2000 and eventually working for Apple and earning a deep appreciation for design and rigorously engineered products.
At Apple he worked alongside top industrial designers and engineers developing products such as the iPhone Gen 1, iMac, Apple TV, Time Capsule, and more.
Following Apple Phillip ventured into Silicon Valley’s thriving startup scene to take on new challenges supporting the development of the Avegant Glyph Video Headset and the Otto Digital Smart Lock.
Over the course of his career Phillip has employed design thinking to devise innovative solutions for products that have seen great success. He is currently serving as a technical advisor to a health and wellness startup and has recently re-located to Nairobi to explore the Silicon Savannah.
