We have the Hunters, who go for the big deals that take the longest time to close but are worth the while when they finally do. They don’t do long-term relationships. Just hit and run – bigly. 

Up next is the Farmer, in every sense of the word. They cultivate and nurture long-term engagements; bringing in the sheaves little by little. These sustain the business when Hunters come home empty-handed from aiming at high-hanging fruits.

Then we have the Scouts – salespeople who know everything about everyone, everywhere. They are the best hires when a company wants to storm new market.
