Building Valuable Local Brands

Up Your Brand Game // Keys to Building Valuable Local Brands in the African Context

Just like the way that we make carefully crafted choices about our own personal appearances before starting each day, the brand builders behind companies do much the same for their businesses in order to ensure that people perceive it in exactly the right way.

But it’s not as simple as deciding what outfit you’re going to wear. Brand building is a lot of hard-won, conscious decisions that you need to put together in a meticulously crafted way. It takes a lot more than creating a nice logo and hoping for the best.

Your brand is the first thing that your customers interact with and evokes certain emotions for them. Think of Apple, Safaricom, Java and many more companies. These companies resonate with us differently.

To become the brands they are today is not an overnight success. Some work has been put in place to help create an incredible brand, each with a promise of what you can expect when you purchase from them (a promise that they deliver on).

If you’re in the thick of brand building and aren’t sure where to go next, join Waithaka Maina, Co-founder Magma, for a workshop on keys to building valuable local brands in the African context .

Through this workshop the participants will be able to get a better grasp of what a brand building is, why it is so important and how to apply it to their own ventures to produce better results in the market. The following is a breakdown of questions we will answer .

  • What is a brand?
  • What is brand building ?
  • Why does it matter ?
  • What steps can I take to build my brand?
  • Where do I begin?

Join us and don’t forget to RSVP your attendance!

When: Tues, 28th June
Time: 10:00 am
