Finplus gets recognized as Most Improved Digital Financial Service Brand in Kenya

Congratulations to our member Finplus who has been recognized as the Most Improved Digital FinancialServices Brand in Kenya at the just concluded annual Digital Technology Excellence Awards held last night at Nairobi’s Intercontinental Hotel.

Now in their third year, DIGITAL TECH EXCELLENCE AWARDS (Formally Digital Inclusion Awards) are meant to provide a platform that recognizes brands who have successfully adopted digital solutions in their day to day operations and by doing so they have served their clients more conveniently and have positively impacted their clients will.

The awards also recognize the brands that are on the lead in the provision of tech solutions to the corporate world.

Now in its second year, Finplus is a platform that connects existing Financial Service Providers with the technology required to improve their operational efficiency and extend their reach, enabling these financial services to touch the lives of everyone – especially those living in remote areas has marked two years of its operation.

Living to its mission of making financial services universally accessible, the Finplus platform has been able to disburse over $120M, link over 50m mobile wallets, disburse over 550K micro-loans, serve over 152K loan borrowers and has had 103K man-hours saved.

Other companies that also got recognized this year include Longhorn Publishers and Brighter Monday.

With its operations in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda Finplus software looks forward to serving over 1,000,000 people and save Financial Services over 300,000 man-hours.
