Innovation // Fingo Africa Releases New Features to Enhance Financial Access
Fingo Africa has unveiled a series of releases designed to provide tools and experiences that simplify financial management.
Through the ‘Fingo Africa’ app, Fingo gives users access to a bank account in under 5 minutes. This is paired with free peer-to-peer transactions and immediate access to multiple services such as savings, financial education and smart spending analytics.
Most of Fingo’s latest offerings are already out and they will continue updating more over the next few weeks.
Virtual Debit Cards
Fingo now allows you to create a virtual prepaid debit card to spend on various goods and services online. And they are doing this in partnership with Visa
You can create multiple cards instantly and use them for subscriptions or payments online; travel and separate your Netflix charges from your Ubers for example.
Fingo has also setup recurring deposits, allowing you to automatically top up the card weekly or monthly based on how you spend. With this, you never have to worry if something will decline and better manage your budgeting and spending.
Fingo Rewards
Now, every time you spend on Fingo or use Fingo, you earn “Fingo Coins” which are their loyalty points.
You can then use these coins to redeem rewards inside the Fingo app for whatever you use or may find useful to yourself.
Once you’ve earned Fingo coins, you can redeem them for a variety of things, like:
- A raffle to stand a chance to win prizes
- Payment discounts at your favorite vendors or stores
- Purchase airtime
Budgeting On Autopilot
Fingo is releasing the first version of their budgeting feature, which they plan to expand with user-requested features over time and help you track your finances more seamlessly.
These features will allow everyone to easily set up their weekly/monthly budget and track each payment automatically
