Cybersecurity 101

Webinar // Cybersecurity 101 for Businesses

Understanding what it takes to secure your business from online fraud.

As cyber threats continue to escalate and data breaches grow in scale and prominence, there is nothing more important than keeping your business safe.

Unfortunately, these threats seem to evolve as quickly as the technology designed to prevent them. You need a plan to keep your business ahead of the game, protected and secure.

Often prime targets for cyberattacks because they aren’t protected by the same level of security infrastructure as larger companies — yet they still have valuable data to offer.

According to studies, about 60 percent of small companies go belly up in the six months following a cyberattack and another one in five small businesses fall victim to cybercrime each year!

Black hat hackers have a bullseye on small businesses because they know SMBs can’t afford the same defense systems as enterprise giants, making it simple to break into your network.

While small businesses are disproportionately targeted by hackers, large businesses also fall victim to data breach.

Examples include Yahoo, Target, Sony, and Dropbox; each resulting in a PR nightmare that harmed business relations and public perception.

Untangling the aftermath of a cyberattack can be expensive, stressful and time-consuming for your business.

Don’t let this happen to your organization! Join us for a webinar with Dr. Bright Gameli Founder Africahackon and Judy Ngure,  Board Member of CyberSafe Foundation and Senior Cyber security Engineer and Senior Cyber security Engineer at Sendy Ltd on cybersecurity101 tips to secure your business.

During the session, you will learn:

  • Proactive steps to safeguard your company’s most important information.
  • Emerging technologies, hidden security vulnerabilities and other cybersecurity challenges
  • Defending against ransomware trends
  • Securing your business from online fraud and much more
