Join Nairobi Garage and Liquid Telecom, for a fireside chat on the future of networking in Africa with Dr. Kireeti Kompella, SVP and CTO of Engineering for Juniper Networks.

The fireside chat will look into how Africa can take its rightful place as a leader in technology and innovation in the networking field. During the session we will also seek to find out:

  • How does Africa address its challenges, and how do we lead in the design and implementations of technologies of tomorrow?
  • What is the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the networks of tomorrow?
  • What security challenges shall we face going forward and how will we address those?
  • All of these questions and more will be the subject of our chat.

About the speaker.

Dr. Kompella is a senior vice president and chief technology officer for Juniper’s engineer team and has also served as CTO of SDN as Juniper Networks.  Kompella holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Southern California specializing in number theory and was an author of several internet-drafts which form the basis of how the Internet works together.  He also currently holds 46 issued patents in the Internet space.
