Greener Pastures: What you need to know about moving to Canada temporarily or permanently
May 7, 2026Supporting Working Mothers: What It Really Takes to Make It Work
May 11, 2026Last week at Nairobi Garage Westlands, our members gathered for a breakfast session focused on a topic that touches every business at some point: taxes and compliance.
The session was led by Nderitu Muriithi, Managing Partner at Ecocapp Capital, who shared practical insights on how businesses at different stages of growth can better navigate their tax obligations and processes.
From understanding withholding tax to managing dispute resolution with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the conversation was both relevant and timely. Mr. Muriithi also walked members through the e-TIMS system, helping demystify a process that many businesses are still adjusting to.
What stood out was the practical nature of the discussion. This was not just about theory, but about giving founders and teams the clarity they need to make better decisions and avoid common pitfalls.
Ecocapp Capital, a firm focused on financial advisory and investment support, works closely with businesses to help them navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence. Their approach combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of the local business environment.
We are grateful to Mr. Muriithi for sharing his time and experience, and to our members who joined us for another engaging morning of learning and connection.
Moments like these are what continue to shape the Nairobi Garage community.
