The Job
Reporting to the Head of Research & Innovation based in Cambridge, and working as part of a bigger Research and Africa’s Voices team, the Researcher is expected to undertake research collaboratively with client organizations, comprising research implementation, data management and analysis and reporting; communicate research insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
// BA/BS in Sales or a related field
//Two years experience in a professional setting

Essential:
//A completed research degree (Master) in a relevant Cognitive or Social Science discipline
// At least 3 years of relevant experience in research applied to social issues
// Excellent knowledge of quantitative methodology, including surveys and quasi-experimental designs
//Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and advanced skills in data analysis through descriptive and inferential statistics
//Ability to work with structured and unstructured data and combining data processing
techniques using of tools such as R, Python and Tableau
//A sufficiently wide-range understanding and experience of qualitative methods
//Ability to undertake research that has impact and to engage in knowledge exchange
//High levels of energy, initiative, and flexibility in quickly adjusting to changing work program requirements
Desirable
// Strong knowledge of one or more of these domains: social innovation/ICT; African media or media development; research and evaluation in a development context
//Technical understanding of user interfaces and digital platforms.
