It’s always a joy to welcome a new member into the family and at Nairobi Garage, we are excited to have The International Partnership for Innovative Healthcare Delivery (IPIHD) & The Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD) join us.
The International Partnership for Innovative Healthcare Delivery (IPIHD) is an impact-driven non-profit affiliated with Duke University dedicated to increasing access to affordable, quality healthcare around the world. IPIHD supports a diverse and global network of more than 50 healthcare innovators and 15 corporate and foundation supporters. IPIHD partners with key organizations in The Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD), a USAID funded global development lab for scaling innovations in global health.
SEAD helps 25 innovative global health enterprises in East Africa and India scale their impact by creating a multi-sector system of support across business, health, policy and impact investment. SEAD engages students and faculty across Duke University and partners in East Africa to support and learn from the enterprises in the SEAD program.
The SEAD East Africa program will deepen on the ground support for enterprises in East Africa and include a greater focus on women and girls.
As technology grows, innovations are being churned out in numbers and with this in mind IPIHD and SEAD can only grow as they support these innovators to address healthcare challenges.
Knowing the challenge of healthcare in Kenya, IPIHD and SEAD will surely get an amazing space at Nairobi Garage from which to address this issue.
We indeed are looking forward to working with IPIHD.
Remember to check in with Nairobi Garage for more amazing members joining our space.
