The Institute for Transportation and Development Policy is an NGO that’s doing some seriously impactful work in promoting sustainable equitable transport worldwide. Equity is something that African societies desperately need, so there’s no shortage of things for them to do here! As their seat for all things ITDP Africa, they chose our very own serviced office space in Westlands as their HQ, and we prize them as members! Christopher Kost, the Africa director, actually happens to have been our October #ZoomIn candidate, so feel free to read his feature here to learn more about his career path and what ITDP does.
Now, they’re looking for a transport planning intern, which means you have a chance to be a part of their team and sit with them in our co-working space. Do you have an interest in sustainable development and improving your fellow city-dwellers’ quality of life? Don’t be shy, read the job description below to understand the procedure, and apply! With them, you’ll be doing lots of collecting, processing, analyzing, mapping, and designing!
