How to deliver a pitch investors can’t turn down

In today’s world, many entrepreneurs come up with great and inspiring products however, only a few of these products get to see the light of the day.
This is because there is a huge gap between having a great business idea and fully implementing it. This gap can be filled by raising the proper funds. And to get the funds, you also need to perfect your pitch.
If you are running a business already, I am sure you have tried pitching your business a number of times and probably failed. In fact, founders like Ken Njoroge, CEO Cellullant have shared a number of times their ‘perfect-pitch’ stories in interviews. Ken, once mentioned that among the hurdles the company had to jump was meeting over 60 different investors over a two year period that took up 400 pitches across the world.
With this in mind, it is clear that the learning curve to getting a perfect pitch can be steep, and sometimes have a fair share of disappointing and yet inspiring and funny stories.
All in all, you need to be able to convince people about your idea – whether a business idea or something completely different. Your pitch is the main thing that could either get your business off the ground or sink it. It all matters!

About the speaker:
Matteo is one of the most recognized and respected faces in the FinTech industry globally with plenty of accolades. He has over 20 years of expertise and deep connections amongst global bank executives, startups and investors.
Italian by birth, the global executive conducts business in Italian, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
Matteo also holds a University degree in Computer Science from the University of Genova and a Postgraduate degree in Financial Transactions from Solvay Business School.
He spent 13 years as a key executive at SWIFT, where he held various positions from sales to global account management.
In 2007, he founded swiftcommunity.net which was built based on the experience he gathered from designing italiansonline.net, the world’s largest Italian expat portal that came to life in 2003, way before Facebook was born.
